You should have some experience of classic scissor cutting techniques and feel ready to take the next leap in your journey. If you lack classic cutting experience, we recommend first taking our Classic Cutting seminar.

Yes. While the seminar focuses on advanced techniques, graphic and visual shapes, the goal is to improve your work with scissors, so that you can create every kind of custom-shaped cut for the clients in your chair. We give you new cutting styles and hairdressing trends to add to your repertoire, so you become a more complete hairdresser.

A good way to visualize it, is to think of scissor cutting as like architecture and razor cutting as like sculpture. With a scissor you construct the shape; with a razor you sketch the shape.

Yes. It’s a fully hands-on seminar with a series of lessons throughout the day. Each attendee is allocated a mannequin and practices a variety of techniques under our interactive instruction.
